Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine

It is our intention that you receive affordable, compassionate, holistic health care.  Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) uses acupuncture, herbs and other therapies to enhance your body’s natural healing process.  Although it is different from the biomedicine which is commonly practiced in the United States, it is quite compatible to it.

TCM treatments are tailored to the individual and depend upon a person’s constitution.  However, there are some general things you can expect.   You can expect that acute problems respond to treatments relatively quickly and chronic problems will take longer to alleviate.  This is normal for natural healing.  Once your health has improved, monthly or quarterly treatments help to maintain wellness.

New environments and experiences are common stressors experienced by all. On the first visit to any health care provider there are forms to fill out, orienting your self with the surroundings and the clinic staff, etc. We do everything we can to alleviate these stressors on our patients.

We encourage you to fill out as much paperwork BEFORE you walk through the door for the first time.  Our new patient form can be easily downloaded so you can fill it out and bring it with you on your first visit. Your first visit will last between an hour and an hour and a half. Follow up treatments usually take less time.

Thank you for your referrals.

When you refer a patient for an acupuncture treatment You receive 15% off of your next visit.

"My body has been put through the ringer playing rugby for the USA. Recently I hurt my back badly and was not able to return to play right away, with the help and expertise of Karla Leopold I was able to start training again and am now back on the pitch as good as new."

"I have had acupuncture many places and this is as good as it gets. They treated my hand pain after an amputation. Don't know what I would do without them. Professional and a very good setting."
